Back in 2013 when Teresa and Nathaniel first met, neither of us expected we would end up where we are now. Teresa came to the US to perfect her English and Nathaniel was working his way to prepare for college. We became great friends and even jokingly had a marriage pact for if we were still single by 30.

Teresa went back to Brazil and moved to Curitiba for her time in college and her profession there. Nathaniel moved away to college in Colorado, and then across the US for his military career.

Multiple times Teresa came back to the US to visit, but when she came for Shelby's wedding and to travel the US in 2021, both Teresa and Nathaniel realized that they could be more than just friends. And the rest is history!
