The venue is Fazenda Vintém (Farm Vintém), located in city of Santa Rita do Sapucaí, Minas Gerais State - Brazil.

Santa Rita do Sapucaí is a small city (around 40 thousand inhabitants), peaceful and friendly. Uber is available in the city!

There are two options for airports:

1. SJK airport (São José dos Campos City). Smaller town, near São Paulo City. The flights arriving at SJK usually stop in Rio de Janeiro city airports. Driving takes 3 hours without traffic → Route from SJK airport to Fazenda Vintém

2. GRU - Guarulhos International Airport (São Paulo City). Largest Brazilian city. Driving takes 3 and a half hours without traffic → Route from GRU Airport to Fazenda Vintém.

Rental car

You can rent a car at the airport. Some rental car companies: Localiza, Movida or Hertz.

Also, Rentcars is a website that lists all available car companies in the world. I’ve used it before and it is reliable. You can read about it here and book it here.

Bus services

The brazilian bus network is extensive, affordable and easy. You can read about general information here. There are many other websites too, just google it! I (Teresa) have always used the bus service getting around.

If you decide on riding the bus (to be honest is not a bad option at all - just be very aware of your surroudings and read the link!), you would take the route:

1. GRU airport to Tietê Bus Station in São Paulo City - you can uber, taxi or also get a bus from the airport to the bus station, many people do this;

2. Tietê Bus Station to Pouso Alegre (MG state);

3. Pouso Alegre to Santa Rita do Sapucaí (they are 40min from each other and there are buses pretty much every hour).

Hiring private driving services

I got a quote from this company, but there are many others to get a quote from.

A 3 passenger car with a bilingual private driver would be around $450 US Dollars (one way, from GRU - Farm). A van, fitting up to 15-18 people would be around $650 US Dollars (one way).

The venue is booked from May 1st - May 4th. You can choose to stay there during that period of time.

It has 28 suites for guests, accommodating up to 4 people each, with one full size bed and two twin beds.

The venue is not a hotel. Towels and linens will be provided but there is no room service of any type during the stay.

You can also stay at any hotel in the city if you would like.

What is included @ the Venue

Stay from May 1st - May 4th.

Breakfast on May 2nd, May 3rd and May 4th.

Afternoon food and snacks on May 3rd (Welcome Party), starting at 4 p.m.

You are free to get food around the city when food is not served at the farm.

Pricing @ the Venue

Suite with four people: $300,00 US dollars ($75 per person for all days of staying).

Suite with three people: $270,00 US dollars ($90 per person for all days of staying).

Suite with two people: $250,00 US dollars ($125 per person for all days of staying).

The pricing above are estimates and include breakfast on May 2nd, May 3rd and May 4th.
